Petmania is a 100% Irish owned retailer, and the largest specialist pet retailer in Ireland. We employee almost 200 people through our stores, head office and distribution centre, and are proud to support our local communities through our education programme and adoption network.
We are commited to remaining as the market leader, and to setting the standards in the specialist pet retail sector.
Dedicated to sharing our customer's passion for pets, we love that pets are part of the Irish family and are here to help all pet owners to keep their pets safe and well. Our store teams are made up of committed Pet Care Advisors who undergo a continual on-the-job training programme to ensure their knowledge of animal welfare and nutrition requirements is up-to-date, and that they are available to our customers to share this knowledge.
As a member of the Petmania team, will be responsible for fulfilling this commitment to our customers.
Petmania is part of the O'Keeffe Group, which was founded by Eamonn and Maureen O'Keeffe in the 1970s. Initially, Petmania was just a section in Gardenia, the city centre garden centre on John Street, Kilkenny City, but much loved by local customers, we decided to open a dedicated pet store on the same street in 2006. Its success spurred us on to our first pet superstore in Waterford in May of 2007. Since then we have grown to considerably, with superstores nationwide.
