Choosing a Collar for your Cat
It can be tricky finding a collar for your cat, especially for adult cats who may never have worn a collar before. If your cat is an outdoor feline who loves to explore, it’s important to give them a collar and ID tag should they ever go missing. Even if your cat primarily stays indoors, if they ever do accidentally wander off, someone may think your cat is a stray and take her to a rescue shelter. Measuring a Collar for your Cat
You can measure your cat’s neck with a measuring tape and making note of where the ends meet. If you don’t have a measuring tape, get a piece of ribbon or string; wrap this around the circumference of their neck and then check the size against a ruler. Make sure it’s wrapped snugly (not tightly!) around her neck.
