Puppy’s First Visit to The Grooming Studio

Puppy’s First Visit to The Grooming Studio

Once your puppy has received all his vaccinations and shots, it’s time to take him for his first grooming session! He will be around 14-16 weeks old at this stage. Bringing your puppy to the grooming studio for the first time can be an exciting but nerve-wracking experience, both for puppy and puppy parent. Your puppy is still exploring the world, getting to know new scents, sounds and experiences.

Our Puppy’s First Visit is designed to help your puppy become familiar not only with our grooming studios, but also the feeling of being groomed, and to make it an enjoyable and fun experience!

What’s Included in Puppy’s First Visit?

Your puppy will receive a tour of our grooming studios, where he can have a little sniff around and experience all the new sights, sounds and smells. Our groomers will ensure your puppy is feeling relaxed, comfortable, and most importantly, having fun!

Your puppy will be bathed in an extra mild, specially formulated puppy shampoo, making him super soft and huggable. We will then delicately dry him off to ease him into the bathing process.

We will also give your puppy an expert nail trim and blow dry during his first visit. This is to help him get used to the process in the future, where it won’t be as scary or as intimidating!

We do not trim your puppy’s hair during his first visit. Your puppy still has his ‘puppy fluff’, and the moment your puppy’ hair is trimmed is when his adult hair begins to form.

We will also check your puppy’s weight and Body Condition Score, diet and his nutritional needs, and advise you on how to care for his coat at home. This is to help you understand what we do here a bit better and what you can do to care for him and his grooming needs.

Puppy’s First Visit is only €15 for all puppies up to 32 weeks-that includes all breeds!
