Trainee Dog Groomers

Petmania Grooming Studios is currently the largest and most successful grooming business in Ireland and boasts some of the most talented and committed Groomers available. We run busy, energetic dog grooming studios where as a Trainee Dog Groomer you will be help to care for our canine customers and learn the skills required to groom all breeds of dogs. You will also treat our human customers with the same level of customer service you would like to receive yourself.

What to Expect

.Joining Petmania as a Trainee Dog Groomer you  will initially work for 4 weeks in a Grooming Studio to assess your skills. Should you demonstrate the necessary talent and aptitude you will be placed on our in-house intensive one-to-one training program (subject to a training agreement).

During the 10 weeks of training you will also spend time in your Grooming Studio each week practicing the skills you learn in training. You will be paid at training rates (in excess of national minimum wage) for the duration and will also have the opportunity to each weekly cash bonuses. On successful completion of your training you will have guaranteed employment as a Qualified Dog Groomer in one of our Grooming Studios.

Salary & Training

Once you complete your initial training, at Petmania we provide our qualified dog groomers with on-going opportunities for up-skilling, both through our internal Grooming Academy and via external trainers providing the Level 3 Diploma in Salon Management, all fully funded by Petmania.

Who Should Apply?

If you are interest in becoming a Trainee Dog Groomer at Petmania you must have completed your Fetac Level 5 or 6 in Animal Care and have a real passion for grooming.
