 Petmania opens new store – 11 jobs for Sligo

IRISH owned pet-retailer, Petmania is set to open a new mega-store and grooming studio in Sligo town in April 2021. The expansion of Ireland’s largest pet-retail stores will mean at least 11 new jobs for the county, bring the total number employed by the company to almost 200 jobs.

The new Petmania Sligo store is part of a major three-year expansion program which saw the Irish company, headquartered in Kilkenny, launch an online store and upgrade of 3 stores in 2020 with two new retail outlets planned for 2021. Petmania already operates 12 stores and state of the art dog grooming studios across Ireland.

Positions available at Petmania Sligo include a retail Store Manager and Assistant Manager, experienced full time and part time pet-care advisor, two full time professional dog groomers and one wash and dry assistant. Details on these new positions and how to apply visit www.petmania.ie

As essential retailers, the new Sligo store will be open seven days a week and features a state of the art dog-grooming studio, weight check facilities, specialist pet food and nutritional supplies plus accessories, bedding, safety equipment and much more.
