Petmania Puppy of the Year

Entry will open from 10am on Monday 25th August 2025.

Entries must be submitted online through a county’s entry form. Firstly, select which county you’d like to enter through, click “next” and fill out each of the required fields on the entry form.

Once submitted, you will receive a confirmation email. In the event your entry is invalid, you will receive an email providing more information on what went wrong and what you can do next.

Entries close at 11:59pm on Sunday 14th September 2025.

No. Entry is restricted to one puppy per entry.

Entries with multiple puppies will be rejected, and you’ll be asked to submit them separately.

You may submit multiple puppies in the same county, as long as each pet has its own separate entry.

No. You will only be allowed to have an entry in one county at a time. Any additional entries for different counties will be removed. 

Round 1 of public voting will take place

• From 6:00pm on Tuesday 16th September 2025
• Until 11:59pm on Sunday 28th September 2025

Round 2 of public voting will take place

• From 6:00pm on Monday 29th September 2025
• Until 11:59pm on Thursday 9th October 2025

To vote online:

1. Select a county
2. Click “vote now” to be redirected to the category’s voting page.
3. Select an entry from the gallery and click “vote”.
4. Enter a valid email address and submit vote.

To ensure fairness, all voters are required to provide a valid email.

For easier navigation, all entrants will receive an email with their unique voting links which will quickly bring you straight to your puppy’s voting card(s). These can be shared on your social media pages to bring your family/friends/followers to your voting card.

Yes. Send an email to [email protected] and we will be able to update your entry. In your email please include the following:

• Name on entry
• County you entered with
• What information you want updated

Please note that entries can only be changed once, and cannot be changed once voting goes live.

If your original entry was rejected for any reason, we will follow up and let you know what to do next.

Unfortunately not. Submissions you make must be on behalf of your pet.

Wildcard puppies are chosen by the Petmania team to progress into round 2.

• Counties with phyiscal stores* will have their wildcard chosen by their store teams.
• All remaining counties that don’t have a Petmania store will be chosen by team members from Petmania Online Store and Petmania Head Office.

*As Co. Limerick has two Petmania stores, they will choose together. Petmania Athlone will choose for Co. Westmeath.

Some smartphones (including iPhones and Androids) take images in a .heif file format, which will not be accepted on Woobox.

You will need to convert these to a .jpg or .png file format to submit. As a quick fix, you can take a screenshot of your photo and submit that instead.

Below are some common reasons why you haven’t received/can’t find any emails from us:

You’ve unsubscribed from emails
You must be subscribed to receive any email updates about this competition. To subscribe again, simply re-join our mailing list.

Emails are going to your spam/junk folder
You will need to add us to a ‘safe sender’ or ‘not junk’ list in order for some emails to be filtered through correctly.

Emails are going to a different folder
Some email clients like Gmail may automatically filter to a promotions folder.

For Gmail users, simply move an email from us from your ‘promotions’ folder to your ‘primary’ folder, and a prompt will appear asking if you want to move all future emails from us to your primary folder. Alternatively you can search for ‘Petmania’ in the search bar.
