Petmania’s Paw Print Campaign Arrives in Galway

Feb 11, 2013

In January, Petmania launched their innovative Paw Print Campaign in Portlaoise, following the discovery of a badly injured puppy, Taylor, who captured the hearts of the town, and the country.

Under the care of Cara Rescue Dogs, Taylor made a miraculous recovery, and has since found a forever home with a fantastic adoptive family.

In an effort to raise awareness and funds for their rescue partner, Petmania launched their Paw Print Campaign, asking customers to donate just €1 to the rescue centre, but also to make their commitment to responsible pet ownership and place their pet’s name and ‘paw print’ the wall in-store.

To date the campaign has raised over €450 for the charity, and has received a wonderful response from the pet owners of Laois.

Following its success, Petmania are bringing its Paw Print Campaign to Galway, and from this weekend, pet owners in Galway can purchase Paw Prints at Petmania, Wellpark Retail Park, Dublin Road, Galway City.

All funds raised by the Paw Print Campaign in Galway will go to supporting Galway Cat Rescue. Galway Cat Rescue is an all volunteer group of animal lovers, committed to helping homeless cats in Galway and dedicated to give every cat a chance to live a safe, healthy and happy life. Established in August 2010, they have since neutered more than 800 cats and have been successful in re-homing more than 500.

This Saturday, Galway Cat Rescue will be in-store in Petmania Galway for their first in-store adoption day of 2013, and are inviting adoptive families, past, present and future, to join them in-store for a special valentine’s weekend event.
