Press Release: Ash Animal Rescue Official Guinness World Records Attempt – Largest gathering of people dressed as dogs

ASH Animal Rescue are searching for least 300 members of the public to get dressed up as dogs this September 26th  for an Official Guinness World Records Attempt, for the largest gathering of people dressed as dogs!

Launching the fundraiser at Petmania in Carlow on Friday 11th September at 4pm, Helena from ASH Animal Rescue explains that “this is a fun initiative aimed at raising money for and awareness of the dogs and cats that we have in our care. Everyone who registers to take part will receive a goodie bag containing the essential information as well as voucher for €5 off their next purchase at Petmania, complimentary ticket for the event and more”. Dog costumes will be provided on the day of the record attempt to all registered participants.

When: The event will take on Saturday 26th September 2015 in Ducketts Grove, Carlow. Participants are asked to arrive by 2.00pm in order to meet our World Record Attempt Guidelines with everyone in costume and ready for 3.30pm.

What’s It For: All monies from the event will go directly to ASH Animal Rescue to help cover the daily costs of caring for the 100+ dogs and 40+ cats that are currently seeking forever homes from their rescue centre in Kiltegan.

How Much: It costs €20 per person to take part which includes your costume essentials and a €5 Off Voucher for Petmania, as well as some other goodies

The World Record Attempt takes place as part of a weekend of activities at Ducketts Grove in Co. Carlow in aid of ASH Animal Rescue and includes their annual Dog Show sponsored by Petmania and Burns dog food, Blessing of the animals, agility course, bubble soccer, trade stalls, childrens village, with plenty of fun and entertainment for all the family.
