Death of loss from theft or straying

Agria will refund your pet’s purchase price up to €2000 should they die as a result of an illness or injury, or they are lost or stolen.

Holiday cancellations & boarding fees

Up tp €2000 to cancel or return from a holiday if your pet requires emergency, lifesaving treatment. Up to €2000 towards the cost of kennelling fees, if you need to go to a hospital.

Breeding risks cover

Up to €2000 towards death as a result of complications of pregnancy, or giving birth and up to €1000 towards fertility examinations and treatment.

Overseas travel cover

Including up to €1000 quarantine kennel costs, €500 emergency expenses, and €250 towards replacing a pet passport.

Pet insurance protects you from major vet bills. Agria policies cover a range of expenses for illnesses, diseases and injuries. Getting dog, cat or horse insurance means you can focus on the health and well-being of your pet and not on treatment costs.

Agria believe lifetime cover is essential to providing quality pet insurance. They cover your pet for life as long as you renew your policy and if the insurer agrees to renew it. Lifetime cover is subject to the terms and conditions of the policy. Please read terms and conditions carefully.

There is no upper age limit for the pets that Agria insure. No matter how ill your pet becomes or how many claims you make, your maximum benefit will always be reinstated when you renew your pet’s policy.

What’s covered: Agria covers vet fees up to €5,000, Third party liability, Advertising and reward, Behavioural treatment, Travel and accommodation, Cremation and hydrotherapy sessions per condition. What’s not covered: Vaccinations, flea, tick and deworming treatments, neutering and pregnancy are not covered. As a pet owner you are responsible for the routine care of your pet.
